Summer Musical Theatre and Drama Camp

We are very excited to be able to offer a summer camp again!  We offered a summer camp every summer for 10 years in Florida, and have not been able to do one in California until now!  The camp will be held at our North Hollywood theatre.  (click here for map)

We are doing a two-week camp, Monday thru Friday of each week, 9am to 5pm, for a total of 80 hours of intensive training in acting, singing, dancing and improvisation, culminating in a production of the full Broadway musical Annie Warbucks, the sequel to Annie.  

The camp director, Gloria Bennett, is the former head of the Children and Youth department of Bicoastal Talent, and an accomplished singer, actress and director.  The show director, Jack Bennett, is a SAG actor with credits in nearly every facet of the business from acting to writing and producing.

We will be double casting the leads and possibly some other parts, and each camper will perform in at least 4 regular shows and the improv show.  The camp is open to ages 8-18.  Campers under 8 will be considered on a case by case basis. 

We are offering scholarships by audition, 5 full and 5 half, based on talent and need.  The scholarship recipients will be our assistants during the camp, in addition to what they will be doing as campers in the production.  If you are interested in more information, check the box on the form and mail in with your information, or scan and email to gloria@musicandtheatre.com.  You will be contacted by e-mail with information.

A minimum of half is due at registration.
